In “Sounding I,” delicate variations in the ground are interrupted only by the suggestion of a calligraphic form that rises slightly from the surface. Meanwhile, works like “Oasis I,” “Oasis II,” and “White Matrix” feature a strong, rectangular central form that commands attention within the space.
